We’ve begun in Mongolia in 2025, with local cast and crew capturing this vision. Mongolian musicians are reimagining Messiah—a world-first—using the morin khuur (horse-head fiddle), yatga (zither), limbe (flute), and tovshuur (lute), alongside urtiin duu (long song) and khöömei (throat singing). Outdoors, the music gains a thrilling aliveness, enhanced by wind, light, and landscape.
